Hotel Indigo Singapore Katong revolves around everything Peranakan, cultural, vintage, eclectic, design-inspired and most of all, charming. However, this beautiful heritage is a dying tradition particularly among the younger generations.

Through a revamped edition of Cherki, a card game often played by Peranakans in the past, an interactive twist to the game application will hopefully restore and reintroduce this vanishing culture. Combining the eclectic lifestyles of the Peranakan within the neighbourhood of katong to lead the design of the Cherki game application, the game app will demonstrate the visual representation of Peranakan cultural elements and the stories of these Peranakans.
